During the winter months, sometimes the heating system in your car simply doesn’t keep you warm enough.  Because of this, many drivers want something extra in their car to warm them up even more.  That’s where the benefit of heated seats comes in; they keep drivers and passengers warm, while also keeping the heat closer to their bodies.  Oftentimes, heated seats provide enough warmth that drivers won’t even turn on their car’s heat.  This actually ends up saving them money on gas!

Heated seats are becoming increasingly common in newer cars, with some cars even offering heated rear seating.  Honda offers a long line of capable vehicles full of incredible features, one of those vehicles being the Accord.  Which Honda Accords offer heated seats on the midsize car?  Let’s find out.

2022 Honda Accord

The 2022 Honda Accord did not face any major updates for the year.  The Accord is slightly larger than the Civic, and both vehicles have a high resale value.  The midsize sedan comes packed with many safety features thanks to Honda Sensing, so drivers never need to worry when behind the wheel.  However, it does not offer all wheel drive - the Accord is a front wheel drive vehicle.

The Accord offers heated seats on the Sport SE model and above, as well as rear heated seats on the Touring model.

2021 Honda Accord

In 2021, the Accord dropped the EX model, as well as the manual transmission.  It did, however, add the Sport SE model.  With a newly remodeled front end, the Accord also made an 8-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay standard.  Wireless CarPlay is also available.  Kelley Blue Book named the 2021 Accord the Midsize Car Best Buy of 2021.

2020 Honda Accord

The 2020 Accord did not release many changes to the sedan.  It offers many easy to use infotainment features, and is considered one of the best family cars.  It is extremely reliable, has low ownership costs, and gets great gas mileage; 30 mpg in the city, and 38 mpg on the highway.

2019 Honda Accord

The Touring model of the Accord received a standard 2.0L engine in 2019.  The Accord also won Kelley Blue Book’s five-year cost to own award, showing how low the cost of ownership for this sedan is.  The IIHS named the vehicle a Top Safety Pick for its high safety scores.

2018 Honda Accord

2018 was a redesign year for the Accord, beginning the 10th and most recent generation of the vehicle.  This brought a new, dynamic styling to the vehicle, making it no surprise that it is one of the best-selling sedans in the country.  It also leads its class in fuel efficiency, so drivers not only get comfort with this vehicle but also convenience.

2017 Honda Accord

In 2017, Honda re-released the hybrid model of the Accord.  This is also the last year that the coupe model of the vehicle was available.  The CVT on the Accord is incredibly responsive, making it a great car to drive, and it also received perfect scores from the NHTSA.

In 2017, the Honda Accord offers heated seats on the Sports SE, EX-L, and Touring models, as well as rear heated seats on the Touring automatic model.

2016 Honda Accord

The 2016 Honda Accord received a refreshed styling, as well as a new infotainment system.  Along with this new system, Apple CarPlay became available on the higher trims.  Honda also standardized their Honda Sensing safety on the Accord during this year.  The Touring received a new coupe model, while the hybrid took a year off.  Additionally, the Touring gained some new parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers.

Heated seats were available on the EX-L and Touring models.  This is the first year that the Touring model offered rear heated seats.

2015 Honda Accord

For 2015, Honda added more standard features onto the Accord, including Honda Homelink on the EX-L trims.  The Accord comes in six trims this year - LX, LX-S, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring.  Each trim offers quick acceleration and ample trunk space, about 15.6 cubic feet of room.
