Which Honda Accord Has Leather Seats?

 

Leather seats provide a luxurious feel in any car, no matter the price point. Not only that, but leather is much easier to clean than cloth seats - which is the standard material in most cars. The Honda Accord’s base trim starts at an affordable MSRP of $24,970, but does it offer cloth seats or leather ones? Do any of the trims offer leather seats - if so, which ones? 2021 Honda Accord

The 2021 Honda Accord is the #1 recommended midsize sedan. This year, the Accord dropped its EX trim, but gained a new Sport Special Edition (Sport SE) trim. It also discontinued its manual transmission option. However, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto became standard, as well as an 8-inch touchscreen to go along with the feature.

Out of the five trim options offered by Honda for the 2021 Accord, three of them offer optional leather seating for the vehicle. Those trims are: the Sport SE, EX-L and Touring trims.

2020 Honda Accord

2020 offered no major changes for the Honda Accord. However, the car still won Kelley Blue Book’s Midsize Car Best Buy Award of 2020. The Accord offers a roomy, comfortable interior with a large trunk space, and the car itself is easy to handle.

The 2020 Accord comes in five trims: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. Leather seating is optional on the following trims: EX-L and Touring.

2019 Honda Accord

For the second year of the newest generation, the 2019 Accord released a 2.0-liter/4-cylinder engine as standard for the luxurious Touring trim. The car, across all trims, offers a long list of great standard features - this likely adds to one of the reasons why it has such a high resale value. The touchscreen infotainment system only becomes available for higher trims, which also includes Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Among the five trim levels, only two offer optional leather seating. These trims are: the EX-L and the Touring.

2018 Honda Accord

The 2018 Honda Accord began the 10th generation of the vehicle with its complete makeover. The remodel put the Accord at the front of the pack for midsize sedans, providing standard Honda Sensing on every trim, offering two new turbocharged engines, the latest infotainment technology, and more. This generation also expanded the number of trim levels from three to the five that we are familiar with nowadays.  

For the release of the new generation, Honda was generous with their leather seats - the EX-L and Touring trims had standardized leather seating.

2017 Honda Accord

The 2017 Accord presented a ton of customization among the trims to fit every lifestyle - there are manual and automatic transmissions, sedans, coupes, hybrid options, and more. The 2017 model also released the Sport Special Edition trim this year, adding more glamour to the typical Sport trim. Among all the customizations, the vehicle still gets great gas mileage and received a perfect safety rating.

The Sport, Sport SE, EX-L, and Touring trims all had standardized leather seating, rather than optional.

2016 Honda Accord

In 2016, Honda Sensing became available in all trim levels, a huge safety measure - in fact, the Accord was the top safety pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The EX trim and higher also introduced Apple Carplay and Android Auto with the updated infotainment system. The car holds up well, losing little value over time.

The 2016 Honda Accord offers six trims: The LX, LX-S Coupe, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring. Leather seating is standard on the Sport, EX-L, and Touring trims.

2015 Honda Accord

The 2015 Honda Accord once again released only minor changes to the sedan, such as the HomeLink remote system and LaneWatch standardizing in higher trims. The interior of the Accord is roomy, easily seating the advertised five passengers. Another benefit of the car that remains consistent over the years is the stellar fuel economy.

Leather seating on the EX-L and Touring trims is standard.  

2014 Honda Accord

In 2014, the Accord released two Hybrid models, reaching 50 mpg in the city. Other than that, there were really no major changes to the vehicle. It ranked in the middle of its class with its stellar fuel economy and spacious backseat. Its other features were par with its competitors for the year, including safety and amenities.

Continuing the trend of leather seating in higher trims, the EX-L and Touring trims offered optional leather seating.

2013 Honda Accord

The 9th generation of Honda Accords began in 2009 with a fully remodeled sedan. The new styling gave the sedan an aesthetically pleasing look, the coupe option giving it a more athletic look. The sport trim was introduced to intrigue a broader audience, also providing multiple engine options.

Leather seating was offered as standard for the EX-L and Touring trims.

2012 Honda Accord

In the last year of the 8th generation of the Accord, Honda included a standard USB port into the vehicle. They also made a backup camera available in higher trims. The car offers a manual transmission for all trims, and the coupe version offers a fun, sporty driving experience. Once again coming in with top safety scores, the 2012 Accord is a great choice for younger drivers.

2011 Honda Accord

In 2011, the Accord had a few changes; they made some cosmetic changes to the grille, wheels, bumper, and interior. The SE trim was created, and the EX and EX-L trims gained some new standard features. This is also the year that the fuel economy made some improvements, inching closer to what we know today.

Leather seating is standard for the following trims: SE and EX-L.

2010 Honda Accord

The 2010 Honda Accord released hands-free Bluetooth on the EX-L trim as standard for the first time. The car had great overall performance, a roomy interior, and nearly perfect safety ratings.  

Only the EX-L trim on the 2010 Accord offers standard leather seating.
