Get a ticket to unparalleled excitement with the 2020 Honda Passport. With a spacious interior, adventure-ready performance, and a wide range of standard safety features, the rugged 2020 Passport is a prime candidate to be your next favorite family hauler. After all, it’s considered the Best Midsize Two-Row SUV by Car and Driver magazine1.
When you have a busy family, interior space is a vital feature in ant prospective vehicle. The 2020 Passport comes equipped with a versatile, practical interior that can haul both passengers and cargo with ease. When you have up to five passengers, you can still pack up to 50.5 cubic feet behind the second-row seats – that means you can easily go camping with the whole family without having to disappoint anybody by leaving items behind. When you fold down the rear seats, the cargo space nearly doubles to 100.7 cubic feet. You will also find a standard 2.5-cubic foot underfloor storage bin that will allow you to pack dirty gear away and keep your Passport clean. This bin is even removable and washable for easy clean up.
Ready for Adventure
Every Honda Passport comes standard with a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 engine under the hood. This powertrain comes paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission which produces 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
A torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system is also available, providing you with a solid grip on the road in most road conditions. An Intelligent Traction Management system will allow you to pick the traction mode that best matches your conditions with Snow, Mud, and Sand modes.
No matter which 2020 Passport you choose, you will be taken care of by the Honda Sensing® suite of advanced safety technologies as standard2. This suite combines radar and camera feedback to help you feel more confident behind the wheel. It comes with the following technologies:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
1Car and Driver, April 2019
2CMBS™ cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. System designed to mitigate crash forces. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
Road Departure Mitigation only alerts drivers when lane drift is detected without a turn signal in use and can apply mild steering torque to assist driver in maintaining proper lane position and/or brake pressure to slow the vehicle’s departure from a detected lane. RDM may not detect all lane markings or lane departures; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, road conditions, and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, and other factors. ACC should not be used in heavy traffic, poor weather, or on winding roads. ACC only includes a limited braking function. Driver remains responsible for slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision.
LKAS only assists driver in maintaining proper lane position when lane markings are identified without a turn signal in use and can only apply mild steering torque to assist. LKAS may not detect all lane markings; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, road conditions, and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
